The kingdom of the antichrist

At the time of the end, we read about two beasts that will be upon the earth. One of the beasts comes from the sea and the other from the land. The first will be a kingdom, the kingdom of the antichrist. The second will be the antichrist himself.  The kingdom of the Antichrist will pretty much be set up for the Antichrist to move in and immediately start using its power for his own will.

I intend to show scriptural evidence that proves that both the first beast from Revelation and the fourth beast from the book of Daniel are in fact, one and the same. I also intend to show that Babylon the Great, is riding on this very beast.

Before we get in to the scripture let us take a moment and break down the symbols.

Beasts = kingdom
Heads =kingdoms
Horns = kings
Waters = peoples

Revelation 13: 1-3
Then I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads (kingdoms) and ten horns (kings), with ten crowns on its horns. And written on each head were names that blasphemed God. This beast looked like a leopard (main body), but it had the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion! And the dragon gave the beast his own power and throne and great authority. And I saw one of his heads (kingdoms) as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed.

Something significant stands out here to me. Instead of believing that a man that was once dead has come back to life, if we look at it in my theory, we can see that a kingdom that was once destroyed has now reemerged. In my opinion, YHWH is the only one that can raise the dead to life. Now, I have heard it said that he (the antichrist) wouldn’t actually be raised from the dead, but rather cloned from the genes of Nimrod aka Gilgamesh aka Osiris. That is the only way I could have believed the first beast to be a man. However, after studying the bible on my own, I can only view the first beast as a kingdom that is made up of seven kingdoms.

We need to go back to the book of Daniel to understand all the parts of this Beast.

Daniel’s beasts

Lion = Babylon - gold
Bear = Mede Persia - Silver
Leopard = Greece – Iron

Something else to take into consideration, the prophecy given to John in Revelation is a timeline.

Revelation 17: 9-11

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains (kingdoms), on which the woman (Babylon) sits. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.

First we know this is talking about kingdoms and not actual hills. So, The Vatican is ruled out. We know that the Angel is speaking to John so this timeline can only be used from the moment in time that John heard this. No other time in history can this prophecy be placed. Next, we need to find out who were the first five kingdoms that had already fallen.

Egypt was the first world power historically ruling from about 2100 BC to 1491 BC. Next was Assyria from about 1100 BC to 606 BC. At this time is when Babylon comes into the picture. Then we have Persia, Greece, and then at that point, when John received the message Rome was ruling. Therefore, the five that had fallen were

Egypt 2100-1491 BC
Assyria 1100-606 BC
Babylon 606-538 BC
Persia 539-331 BC
Greece 331-168 BC

Rome 168 BC – 476 AD

Rome would continue to rule for some time after John’s death. But, we at least can see the five kingdoms that had fallen at this point and we know who the sixth was. Rome eventually was split into two empires with the help of Constantine. The western half centered in Rome and the eastern half centered in Constantinople, a city he named after himself. When Constantine did this he also moved the Roman capitol. It was not Constantinople. The western empire fell, but the eastern reigned on for a while as the Byzantine Empire. But what I would like to point out is that Constantinople is present day Istanbul Turkey. The Ottoman Empire came next, with the fall of the Byzantine Empire. The Ottoman Empire is the seventh kingdom. We must remember that the eighth kingdom is one of the seven. Something else to take into consideration is that the Turkish Ottoman Empire flag is the crescent moon with the star. This just so happens to be the very same symbol that ancient Babylon used. The very symbol of Baal and Ashtoreth, from Babylon, is the proudly displayed on the Ottoman flag. There is only one kingdom left. What we do know is this; the seventh kingdom is also the eighth.

Revelation 17: 1-3
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters (peoples), with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication (sin), and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads (kingdoms) and ten horns (kings).

                We know that the woman is Babylon of the end days. But what we can see here is that Babylon is specifically associated with the first beast. So if you originally held to the idea that the first beast was the antichrist, ask yourself this. How can Babylon sit upon the antichrist? Also, how can the antichrist have multiple heads or kingdoms? If this first beast is a kingdom itself, then it could be comprised of multiple nations. If this beast is as we read it is, it is more similar to the leopard considering its looks like the leopard and has attributes of the other ancient kingdoms. This kingdom is a mixture of all that came before it.

The next thing that I would like to point out is that the beast with the seven kingdoms and ten kings, hate the whore also known as Babylon.

Revelation 17: 15-18

Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. And the ten horns (kings) which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

            I say that this beast is the kingdom of the antichrist because that is the way it is explained in the Bible. The first explanation we read about is to Daniel, the next is to John in the Book of Revelation, both explanations coming from an angel. These explanations are so similar, that I think that it is obvious that the fourth beast from Daniel’s vision and the first beast from John’s vision are the same beast being described. Daniel has a dream in which he sees four beasts.

Daniel 7: 3

Then four huge beasts came up out of the water, each different from the others.

Daniel 7: 7-8

Then in my vision that night, I saw a fourth beast—terrifying, dreadful, and very strong. It devoured and crushed its victims with huge iron teeth (lion?) and trampled their remains beneath its feet. It was different from any of the other beasts and it had ten horns (kings). I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns (kings) were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn (king), were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

In both Revelation and Daniel the beast being described comes from out of the sea. Daniel describes the first three beasts as having attributes similar to those of animals, a lion, a leopard, and a bear. The fourth beast however never gets such a label. The explanations given about these beasts and horns are these…

Daniel 7: 17

These four huge beasts represent four kingdoms that will arise from the earth.

Daniel 7: 23-25

Then he said to me, “This fourth beast is the fourth world power that will rule the earth. It will be different from all the others. It will devour the whole world, trampling and crushing everything in its path. Its ten horns are ten kings who will rule that empire. Then another king will arise, different from the other ten, who will subdue three of them.

Revelation 17: 12-14

The ten horns of the beast are ten kings who have not yet risen to power. They will be appointed to their kingdoms for one brief moment to reign with the beast (second beast aka antichrist).

       As we can see, the beasts are kingdoms. I believe the forth beast that Daniel claims is “terrifying, dreadful, and very strong,” is the first beast from Revelation. It is the kingdom that will be ruled by the antichrist. The fourth world power “was different from any of the other” world powers. This kingdom is significant, and unique. Something about it is very scary to the people of the earth. My opinion is that the people of this beast kingdom are killing and destroying many other kingdoms and nations. Conquering and devouring all that they pass through. Unlike any army before them, they are unstoppable. This too makes sense considering the main body of this beast is that of Greece. Consider Alexander the Great. He was from Greece and he went through the known world conquering and destroying all in his path. We will see very similar actions and results as that of Alexander the Great.
Both the fourth beast from Daniel and the first from Revelation have ten kings.  Daniel says the last king will be different than the others, and Revelation says that they will reign with the second BEAST (the antichrist) for a short time. The beast kingdom of Revelation will have all ten kingdoms united with one purpose and one goal. That goal is to make war with all of YHWH’s holy people.

Revelation 17:12-14

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind (common goals), and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

If the birth pains, or the beginning of sorrows, have begun, then we can assume that the kingdom or nation is either here already or will emerge very soon. This nation will be very powerful and will have a strong influence over the entire earth. It will start a war against the chosen people of God, and conquer them.

Revelation 13: 7

And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation.

God’s holy people in this passage could be talking about Israel or it could be speaking of believers, personally, I believe that these groups are the same. Either way, this powerful kingdom should stand out when we see the command to attack Israel or the attack on all those that practice Christianity. One or both of these two things will happen, either Israel will be defeated, or believers will be oppressed, imprisoned, and killed. I am leaning more toward the latter based on the words of Christ. He said believers would be persecuted in His name, because they believe Him to be the Son of God. One thing that I would like to note here is that we see this happening in the Middle East today. Islam and Muslim extremist are invading villages and killing believers every day. There seems to be an agenda and that agenda seems to be directly related to what we read in the bible.

This kingdom will undoubtedly be full of blasphemous evils; again looking to the Middle East we see that Islam blasphemes the name of Yeshua (Jesus). When considering the Middle East and Islam as a possible area for the First Beast, it really starts to fit for me when I read the book of 1 John.

1 John 2:22

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

Islam not only denies that Yeshua (Jesus) is the son of YHWH, but also claims that YHWH has no children. The antichrist does this very thing. Aside from atheist, it seems to me that not many other religions deny their gods from having children. Islam has the spirit of the Antichrist as a built in part of the system.

Greed, not God, will be the driving force for all things. Men will be treated as slaves by those that are wealthy. Unjust laws will be written in favor of the rich, and to discriminate against the poor. The unemployed widow and the bastard child will be viewed as nothing more than pests and a drain on the system. Murder, addiction, sexual immorality, drunkenness, and the hatred of YHWH will be common in this land.  Nothing will be thought of as sacred, including marriage. Divorce and premarital sex will be common. Extramarital affairs will touch the lives of high ranking officials. Those thought of as Holy men will commit obscene and lewd acts, making even the altar of YHWH no longer sacred. All these things will reinforce the unbeliever’s ideas that there is no creator of the universe, allowing them to scoff at even the idea of God.

The first beast will also have the most powerful soldiers, strong enough to be feared by the entire world, commanded by the antichrist himself. We read about the military system in several books of the bible, but that will be for another post.
