Revelation Chapter Eighteen Breakdown

1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.

A new angel which John sees who has authority lit up the earth.

2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

Isaiah 21:9

And look, here comes a chariot of men with a pair of horsemen!” Then he answered and said, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her gods He has broken to the ground.”

Jeremiah 50:2-3

“Declare among the nations, Proclaim, and set up a standard; Proclaim—do not conceal it— Say, ‘Babylon is taken, Bel is shamed. Merodach is broken in pieces; Her idols are humiliated. Her images are broken in pieces.’ For out of the north a nation comes up against her, Which shall make her land desolate, And no one shall dwell therein. They shall move, they shall depart, Both man and beast.

Isaiah 46:1

Bel bows down, Nebo stoops; Their idols were on the beasts and on the cattle. Your carriages were heavily loaded, A burden to the weary beast.

Judges 8:26

Now the weight of the gold earrings that he requested was one thousand seven hundred shekels of gold, besides the crescent ornaments, pendants, and purple robes which were on the kings of Midian, and besides the chains that were around their camels’ necks.

The angel cries out with a quote from Isaiah, Babylon is fallen. Jeremiah also prophesied about this very event. Babylon is taken, and the false god Bel is put to shame. It is my belief, Allah and Bel are one and the same. All the idols, such as the Kabbah stone and the crescent moons are broken. No man will live in this city ever again.

3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

All the nations of the world have engaged in supporting this city. This city supports the division of the land of Israel and the removal of the people of God.

Joel 3:2-3

I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.  They have cast lots for My people, Have given a boy as payment for a harlot, And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

Notice a few things here. First, YHWH is judging these people for splitting up His land. We also see the harlot mentioned along with the wine. This is very interesting in my opinion because it can be directly linked to the Islamic nations surrounding Israel today.

Psalm 83:2-8

For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah

Looking at this passage, we see some things very clearly. First, I would like to point out many theologans claim this is a passage of events which have already taken place. I disagree. We can turn on the daily news and see there are a specific group of people today who make this very claim, “let us cut them off from being a nation” and they would prefer “the name of Israel” is to be “remembered no more”. What is even more interesting is that specific group of people are the surrounding countries of Israel. Now, looking at the list given in Psalm 83, every one of those countries are countries making that very claim today, and they all surround Israel. These people are stated to be the enemies of YHWH.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

Jeremiah 51:6

Flee from the midst of Babylon, And every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, For this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; He shall recompense her.

John hears a voice commanding the people of YHWH to flee Babylon. The warning is if they do not, they will share in the sin and plagues coming upon this city.

5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Jeremiah 51:9

We would have healed Babylon, But she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go everyone to his own country; For her judgment reaches to heaven and is lifted up to the skies.

The sin of Babylon is high. YHWH has not forgotten what this city has done.

6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.

YHWH will repay this city double according to the deeds committed.

7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’

Acts 19:35

And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said: “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Zeus?

Isaiah 47:8-9

“Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, Who dwell securely, Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children’; But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.

Diana was originally a goddess of the woodlands, a maiden huntress who spurned romance and men in general…She was identified by the Romans as being the same as the Greek Artemis. Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and the twin sister of Apollo…The “image which fell from heaven” was a black meteor which was worshiped as an image of the goddess Cybele.

Artemis is the Greek rendering of the Hebrew goddess Ashtoreth, who was known as the Queen of Heaven. The meteor, if carefully followed throughout history, moves from Ephesus to Saudi Arabia, long before Muhammad started Islam. When he conquered Mecca, he associated the meteor with Allah. This stone is currently sitting in Mecca and worshipped by the Muslims. It is said, the Kaaba forgives the sins of the Muslims. Mecca is the great city, and Mecca sits inside Saudi Arabia. Mecca is the whore of Babylon, with the Diana meteor sitting in the middle of the city.

Isaiah is referring to the city known as the daughter of Babylon. We can understand then, Mystery Babylon, the Harlot, and the daughter of the original Babylon are one and the same. This means, Isaiah is not referring to Babylon in Iraq. But to be a daughter is to be an offspring. The offspring looks and acts similar to the parent. 

8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

This city will be destroyed in one day. There will be death, sadness and famine. The entire city will be completely burned with fire.

Jeremiah 51:25-26

“Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, Who destroys all the earth,” says the Lord. “And I will stretch out My hand against you, Roll you down from the rocks, And make you a burnt mountain. They shall not take from you a stone for a corner Nor a stone for a foundation, But you shall be desolate forever,” says the Lord.

Some of these prophecies against Babylon have already taken place between the Medes and ancient Babylon. However, not all has come to pass. This leads me to believe the very same thing will go down again, but only not with ancient Babylon, but with the new city, Babylon the Great.

Jeremiah 51:33

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor When it is time to thresh her; Yet a little while And the time of her harvest will come.”

This is a direct link to a different Babylon which is birthed from the original. There are significant correlations between ancient Babylon and modern Mecca.

9 “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’

All the rulers of the nations of the world will mourn deeply due to the destruction of this city. It seems they even understand the city has come under judgement.

11 “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.

Again we see how the destruction of this city causes major issues with the merchants. The list of merchandise is pretty extensive and encompasses almost everything that can be made.

14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all.

The people of Babylon had committed deeds to become rich, but the desire will be removed. All the things considered valuable will be taken.

15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!

The merchants will mourn from a distance due to fear of being sucked into the destruction. They will all be upset over the destroying of the city.

17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’

YHWH destroyed the entire city in only one hour. Potentially a nuclear bomb will be dropped on the country of Saudi Arabia specifically the city of Mecca.

19 “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’

Now, this verse is of particular interest. These people, merchants, shipmasters, and sailors, “threw dust on their heads and cried out”. The throwing of dust on one’s head in mourning is a Middle Eastern practice. I can not imagine a Middle Eastern custom being adopted by any other nation, nor can I imagine any Muslims mourning over the destruction of the Vatican, or New York City. This verse alone seems to indicate Mystery Babylon is at minimum located in the Middle East.

20 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

The prophets and apostles are considered avenged because of the destruction of this city. This makes sense as well because Saudi Arabia has strict laws for any non-Muslim to convert to Islam if living within its borders. The city of Mecca specifically has a split on the roadway into the city. It reads something along the lines of non-Muslims must not enter and if they do, they will face death.

21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.

A strong angel throws a massive stone into the sea, likely the Red Sea, and makes the statement, 

“Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore”.

22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore.

Nothing of pleasantness shall be found or heard in this city, ever again.

23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

Those considered great men of the earth were the merchants of this city and do to what YHWH calls their sorcery, they deceived the whole world.

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”

The blood of believers was found in this city. Something very interesting to consider, we will get to it in a later chapter, but Believers in the Islamic countries are having their heads literally cut off. Islamic nations are the only ones in the world today who still behead anyone. It just so happens they are doing this to anyone who claims to follow Yeshua and stands by the understanding that He is the son of God. If anyone will not deny Yeshua as the son of God, they are killed, not pay close attention to the next two verses.

Revelation 20:4

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

1 John 2:22

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

Revelation chapter Seventeen Breakdown

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

John has a conversation with one of the Bowl carrying angels. He instructs John to follow him to see the judgement of Mystery Babylon. We also can see Mystery Babylon is somehow connected with many kings of the earth and these kings commit “fornication” with her. Also, the people of the earth are “made drunk” with the “wine” of her “fornication”. Therefore we can immediately take way the idea whatever is going on between the great city of Babylon and the kings of the earth produce something all the inhabitants of the earth either want or continually use and causes them to be in a sort of stupor.

Jeremiah 51:6-8

Flee from the midst of Babylon, And every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, For this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; He shall recompense her. Babylon was a golden cup in the Lord’s hand, That made all the earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; Therefore the nations are deranged.  Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed. Wail for her! Take balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed.

This passage from Jeremiah, has been associated with the original Babylon, however, I do not believe this to be the case. If we really break down what is being stated here, we clearly see it is the “day of the Lord” and similar terminology being use. For example we see the nations drink her wine, causing them to become deranged.

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

John is taken to the desert in his spirit. The woman is somehow controlling the beast we have previously read about. My understanding is the woman is one of the leading cities of the antichrist kingdom.

Isaiah 1:18

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

She is riding a beast full of sin and blasphemy.

4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.

Judges 8:26

Now the weight of the gold earrings that he requested was one thousand seven hundred shekels of gold, besides the crescent ornaments, pendants, and purple robes which were on the kings of Midian, and besides the chains that were around their camels’ necks.

Something I find very interesting is the linkage between Midian and the whore of Babylon. Midian is located in modern day Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is one of the richest countries in the world. They are an Islamic country, and we see Midian kings wore the crescent ornaments. The whore is adorned in purple and scarlet, and Midian kings wore purple as well.

5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

This is very interesting. We can see this is not an actual woman, but a metaphor. This “woman” is called Babylon. She is also known as the “mother of harlots” and the “abominations of the earth”. To really think about this we can take a few things away. First, this city must be similar to ancient 

Babylon. Second, it must have a connection to the first prostitute, whether that be an actual prostitute or the first “god” to lure men away from YHWH. Third, there is a link between this city and the horrors going on in the world.

Now consider what has already been stated concerning Islam. The Muslims today are behind most of the terrorism in the world today.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

Now here is something very concerning. This woman, who is a great city, is literally linked to killing the people of YHWH. We know from world news today, Islam is killing record numbers of believers today. That is, they are killing those who keep the Law of God, such as the Jews, as well as those who hold fast to the testimony of Yeshua, such as Christians.

7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

The angel tells John he is about to reveal to him what the vision was all about. This should take the guessing completely out of the situation.

8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The beast used to be, at the time of John was not, but will be again. It comes out of the bottomless pit, which is the ocean. It is clear here it is not the whole world who marvel at the beast, but only those whose names are not written in the Book of Life.

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

The beast has seven mountains. These mountains are kingdoms. So, the woman, or city, is the head of the seven kingdoms.

Isaiah 2:2

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.

10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time.

To reiterate, the angel says there are seven kings. Kings rule kingdoms and he says, five have already fallen. One was currently in John’s day. One will come later. If these are kingdoms we should be able to reveal what these kingdoms are. 

1. Egypt

2. Assyria

3. Babylon

4. Medo-Persia

5. Greece

6. Rome

These are the world power kingdoms. Rome was in power during John’s day. Knowing this we can determine who the seventh was. It was the Islamic empire. One thing the first four all have in common with the seventh is they are all the same people group, who make up what we know as Islam today. They were the next big world power which split with the Roman Empire on the Eastern side and was known as the Byzantium Empire.

11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

Now this beast was at one time a world power, then was not, but will be again. This kingdom is one of the previous seven, or a combination of them.

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.

Now, one of the main reasons I stated the beast is a nation or kingdom is because the horns of the beast are described as kings. These ten kings will be granted power as kings once the beast is fully recognized.

13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

All ten of these kings have the same mindset. I believe this also plays into my understanding of the beast being the combined Muslim nations. They all have one religion which is also its law, Sharia.

14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

These ten kingdoms will fight against Yeshua, the Messiah. Yeshua will defeat them.

15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

The many waters in which the city of Babylon sits are many nations. Babylon will have some amount of power in many nations across the world.

16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

Isaiah 47:1-3

“Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called Tender and delicate. Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your veil, Take off the skirt, Uncover the thigh, Pass through the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate with a man.”

The ten kings will hate this city. Even though they are all part of the same kingdom. This is why I believe the harlot is directly associated with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is an Islamic nation, like all its surrounding nations. However, this particular Muslim country sells crude oil to many nations around the world. Iran despises them for doing so. There has also been reports of Iran planning to send nuclear bombs against Saudi Arabia once they obtain them. This would make sense considering the ten kings plan to burn this great city with fire. Oil is extremely flammable.

Notice, Isaiah is referring to the “daughter of Babylon”, which simply means this city is an offspring of the original. Offspring look and act in a similar fashion as their parent. 

17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

This is all part of YHWH’s plan. These kings are supposed to destroy the city.

18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

Having the power of oil prices hanging over the heads of many of the first world nations is extremely important. This would definitely allow them to have a say in many aspects of what the country does politically as well as culturally.

Revelation Chapter Sixteen Breakdown

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

John, hearing what is likely the voice of YHWH, the commanding of these seven angels to pour out the bowls of wrath on the earth.

2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.

All who had taken the mark of the beast and who had worshipped his image had a breakout of sores. These bowls are quite interesting when you compare them to the judgments against Egypt during the time of Moses.

Exodus 9:9-10

And it will become fine dust in all the land of Egypt, and it will cause boils that break out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.” Then they took ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses scattered them toward heaven. And they caused boils that break out in sores on man and beast. (the sixth plague)

3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.

Exodus 7:17-18

Thus says the Lord: “By this you shall know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood. And the fish that are in the river shall die, the river shall stink, and the Egyptians will loathe to drink the water of the river.” ’ ” (the first plague)

4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

In the Exodus the waters were struck, in Revelation the sea then the rivers become blood. Definitely an order here.

5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying: “You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is and who was and who is to be, Because You have judged these things.

One of the angels calls out in a reference of Yeshua and calls Him righteous because He made the judgements of the sin in the world.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”

The ones who are being judged, and have to deal with the bloody water to drink are those who are killing believers, those were are killing Jews and Christians. I keep coming back to this, but as of right now, the only people killing Jews and Christians regularly are the Muslims.

7 And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

Another angels proclaims the judgments of YHWH are righteous.

8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.

Isaiah 66:22-24

“For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord, “So shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.  “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

There are some interesting things we can take away from this passage. The bowl brings fire from the sun to burn men alive. Once the new heaven and earth is here, men will come from all over the world to worship Yeshua and when they do they will see the never ending burning of the bodies of those who broke YHWH’s Law. Also something to consider, the new heaven and earth is likely this very earth we stand on now, made new because these bodies are continually burning from this earth to that one.

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

John gives a bit more detail on these men who are effected by the heat of the sun.

10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.

This bowl is poured out onto the throne of the antichrist causing all his kingdom to become dark. Those within this kingdom are in severe pain causing them to chew on their own tongues.

11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

These men still did not repent and turn away from the antichrist. They were in pain and blamed YHWH.

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.

This bowl dries up the Euphrates River which allows a path for the kings of the east to come to YHWH. Its likely these kings are those from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and so on.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Exodus 8:6

So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

We see another parallel between Exodus plagues and Revelation bowls. These frogs, however, come from Satan, kingdom of the antichrist and the antichrist, who I believe is the false prophet.

Mark 13:21-23

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.

Matthew 24:26-27

“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

We know the Middle East is mostly desert, specifically the nations full of Muslims. This is quite interesting considering we know the prophecies of Islam say Issa, who they claim is the one we call Jesus, will come back in their prophecies as well. Issa will also have miraculous powers to show signs and wonders to the world. It is quite amazing just how these things match up. 

14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

These frogs are demons. They have the ability to do what we would consider as magic in order to bring the kings of the world against YHWH on the great day of YHWH.

15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

John hears the statement.

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon (Megiddo).

All these kings gathered together against YHWH in the valley of Megiddo.

17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

The last angel pours out his bowl and the voice came out of the temple proclaiming it is done.

18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.

Isaiah 29:5-7

“Moreover the multitude of your foes Shall be like fine dust, And the multitude of the terrible ones Like chaff that passes away; Yes, it shall be in an instant, suddenly. You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire. The multitude of all the nations who fight against Jerusalem, Even all who fight against her and her fortress, And distress her, Shall be as a dream of a night vision.

Isaiah prophesied about this very incident giving us a little more information as to who we should be looking at in terms of who will be punished by YHWH.

19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

The great city, Jerusalem was divided into three parts during the battle. The cities of the nations lost. Mystery Babylon’s deeds were remembered by YHWH and he gave this city the fiercest part of His wrath.

20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

At this point all those nations were no longer found. They were gone, as in destroyed.

21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

Exodus 9:18-19

Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause very heavy hail to rain down, such as has not been in Egypt since its founding until now. Therefore send now and gather your livestock and all that you have in the field, for the hail shall come down on every man and every animal which is found in the field and is not brought home; and they shall die.”

We see yet another parallel with the Exodus. During this “greater exodus”, we see many of the same things, and yet, men are still against YHWH. This hail weighs about seventy five pounds each.

Revelation Chapter Fifteen Breakdown

1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.

John sees seven more angels each bringing the final parts of the wrath of God.

2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

John sees those who have victory over all aspects of the beast.

3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

These people sing the praise of the Most High God.

4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”

All will fear YHWH and glorify His name. He alone is holy. All His judgements have come to pass. These are the words of the song.

5 After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.

John sees the temple in heaven open.

6 And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.

The seven angels come out of the temple carrying the seven plagues.

7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.

One creature gives the angels the seven bowls.

8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

The temple was shut down until the plagues were poured out on the earth.

Revelation Chapter Fourteen Breakdown

1 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Revelation 7:4

And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

Isaiah 31:4

For thus the Lord has spoken to me: “As a lion roars, And a young lion over his prey (When a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him, He will not be afraid of their voice Nor be disturbed by their noise), So the Lord of hosts will come down To fight for Mount Zion and for its hill.

Isaiah 10:12

Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, “I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.”

Obadiah 1:17

“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

John is seeing the revelation of the prophecy given by the Old Testament prophets. The 144 thousand are those who stand with Yeshua on Mount Zion.

2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.

John hears a loud voice, sounding like many peoples.

3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.

The 144 thousand are the only ones who knew the new song. They were also call the one who were redeemed from earth.

4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

These 144 thousand were not defiled by women. This is interesting because I believe this is a literal statement. Meaning, this cannot be some type of metaphor for the church. These people are virgins. I believe these are the believers who make up the bride of Christ. They are separate and different from others who will make it into the kingdom of heaven.

5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.

They did not speak deceitful words. They are also without blame for sin.

6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Now this seems to be the very last chance to bow down to Yeshua. The angel carries the gospel to preach to all the earth.

8 And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

Isaiah 21:1, 9

The burden against the Desert of the Sea. As whirlwinds in the South pass through, So it comes from the desert, from a terrible land.

And look, here comes a chariot of men with a pair of horsemen!” Then he answered and said, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her gods He has broken to the ground.”

This is a direct word link between Mystery Babylon and the prophecy of fallen Babylon by Isaiah. 

The prophet says Babylon is the desert by the sea. The angel calls Babylon the great city who has all the nations of the world drunk with her wine. There is only one city called great that is also a dessert next to a sea, and has an effect on the whole world. The city is Mecca, inside the country of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia supplies oil to much of the world. Not only that, this city is the most holy ground of Islam. The Kabbah Stone is also located here.

9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Here we see a third angel with another message. Worshipping the beast or its image is not a good thing to do. The image of the beast is likely the very image we read about in Acts 19. That is if you take the time to follow this stone throughout history, you will find it wound up in Mecca before Muhammad took the city for Islam. The Hindus were worshiping the stone at that time and the practice was adopted for Muslims. 

Acts 19:35

And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said: “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Zeus?

We can clearly see this image came from, according to the people of Ephesus, a god in heaven. This is the same understanding as Islam with the Kabba stone. We also must see the beast also has a seal or mark for men. They wear it on their hand or forehead. If you choose to allow yourself to worship the beast or its image and allow yourself to take its mark, you will end up in the flames of hell.  

11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

The smoke from the burning bodies of those who worshiped the beast or its image, and took his mark will rise forever. These people will never find rest, but only pure torment. This is true hell in every imaginable way.

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Now here is a lesson for those who keep the commandments of YHWH and have the faith of Yeshua.

13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Those who die from this point on are blessed. They will rest from their labors and all the works or laws they kept from Torah will follow them. That is, their good deeds.

14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.

Isaiah 19:1, 16-17

[Proclamation Against Egypt] The burden against Egypt. Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, And will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.

In that day Egypt will be like women, and will be afraid and fear because of the waving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which He waves over it. And the land of Judah will be a terror to Egypt; everyone who makes mention of it will be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts which 

He has determined against it.

Here John sees Yeshua riding on a cloud, and we can directly link this to Isaiah. The prophet tells us where Yeshua is going when He first comes on the cloud. He is heading to Egypt and all the idols in Egypt will fall. We know Egypt is an Islamic country, and we see this is the declaration against Egypt.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

This is what we call the rapture, but this doesn’t happen until we see Him descend on a cloud. We cannot allow ourselves to be deceived. Our Savior comes on a cloud. No other way should we expect to see Him.

16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord

This is interesting because we see Yeshua comes on a cloud and does two things. One, He goes to fight against Egypt. Two He brings all His people up to the cloud with Him.

Matthew 24:31

And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

17 Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

John sees yet another angel and he too has a sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.”

The angels are everywhere it seems. Here is another angel John sees and this one has power over fire. He directs the angel with a sickle to gather those on the earth who do not believe.

19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Joel 3: 12-13

“Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow— For their wickedness is great.”

Isaiah 63: 2-3

Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

“I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.

Let us make no mistake. Yeshua comes to destroy these nations. As we can see, His clothes are covered in the blood of these nations who chose the antichrist.

20 And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs. (184 miles)

The wrath of God is complete at this point. Blood was about five feet high for roughly one hundred 

and eighty four miles.
