1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of
the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”
Yeshua opens the first seal and
John is beckoned forth to see.
2 And I looked, and behold, a
white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and
he went out conquering and to conquer.
A man with a bow on a white horse
was given a crown. This man goes out to conquer lands and kingdoms. It is
likely this man on a white horse is the Antichrist.
3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature
saying, “Come and see.”
Yeshua opens the second seal, and
John again is beckoned.
4 Another horse, fiery red,
went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the
earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a
great sword.
A red horse is seen. The man on
the horse removes peace from all the earth, causing wars and hatred. This man
was given a great sword.
5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,
“Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a
black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
Yeshua opens the third seal. Now
John sees a black horse with a man carrying balances.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying,
“A quart of wheat for a denarius,
and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”
We are given a statement related
to the balances. One quart of wheat for one denarius. A denarius is a Iraqi
currency. The fact denarius is used here will be significant as we go deeper in
this study. Three quarts of barely is also one denarius. Now, there is a
warning that comes with the balance statement. “Do not harm the oil and the
wine”. Oil and wine likely play a major role in end times, which I believe they
do and are linked directly with the Denarius statement as we will soon see.
7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth
living creature saying, “Come and see.”
Yeshua opens the fourth seal.
8 So I looked, and behold, a
pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed
with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with
sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
The pale horse is likely green.
The Greek word is chlōros and is used four times in the New Testament. Aside
from this one, all the other three are translated as green. Therefore, we can
conclude this is a green horse. Death rode the green horse and Hades or hell
followed death. The four horsemen are given power over a fourth of the earth to
kill. This is also very significant and has a direct link to the denarius as
well as oil and wine.
9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of
those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they
held.
Yeshua opens the fifth seal.
YWHW’s alter has all the slain souls under it. These are those who died because
of their belief in the Word as well as the testimony of Yeshua.
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy
and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the
earth?”
These souls ask how long with
they have to wait to be avenged.
11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them
that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their
fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was
completed.
Each of the souls were given a
white robe at this point, but they were told to rest a while longer. The rest
of the believers who were to be killed needed to be killed.
This is interesting considering
they were told to rest, and at least some believers were destined to be killed
on earth.
12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a
great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon
became like blood.
Yeshua opens the sixth seal. At
that moment a great earthquake takes place at the same time the sun is darkened
and the moon turns blood red.
13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its
late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
Also during the sixth seal, the
stars from heaven fall to earth. This is also intriguing considering the stars
of heaven are the angels in heaven. Upon the sixth seal angels will fall, this
could very likely be seen as aliens coming. Considering this happens around the
same time as the sun going black, the
moon turning red, and a huge earthquake,
lots of things will be off in the skies.
14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every
mountain and island was moved out of its place.
Also at the sixth seal, the sky
look like it opens up, similar to rolling up paper. Mountains are moved from
their places.
Isaiah 34:4
All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf
falls from the vine, And as fruit
falling from a fig tree.
Here we can see it is the angels,
which fall upon the earth, as well as the sky rolling up like a scroll. So,
what was Isaiah talking about overall in this prophecy?
Isaiah 34: 2, 8-9,
For the indignation of the Lord
is against all nations, And His fury
against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them
over to the slaughter.
For it is the day of the Lord’s
vengeance, The year of recompense for
the cause of Zion. Its streams shall
be turned into pitch, And its dust into brimstone; Its land shall become burning pitch.
Pitch is a kind of petroleum made
from crude oil. This is very interesting in my overall case for what is going
on in Revelation. The streams and ground become burning oil fields. There are
many countries in the Middle East who supply oil to the nations around the
world. Interestingly enough, it is the countries in the Middle East also are
fulfilling the following.
Psalm 83: 2-8
For behold, Your enemies
make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have
taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a
nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have
consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of
Lot. Selah
These are all Middle Eastern
countries and they are named as the enemy of Israel. Even to this day all these
countries want to remove Israel as a nation. Also take notice all these
countries are of on consent, or of one mind.
15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the
commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in
the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and
rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and
from the wrath of the Lamb!
Men absolutely freak out at all
that is taking place. Men hide in caves and mountains. Men wish to die rather
than allow themselves to be seen by YHWH or face the wrath Yeshua brings.
17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
It is at the sixth seal when the
wrath of God is to come. Not one man will be able to stand.
